This collection has been designed to provide you with understanding of anatomical terminology in English. Having memorized it you shall know basic terminology such as: colon, hypothalamus, palpebra, peritoneum, islets of Langerhans, endometrium, vena cava, etc. You will also learn more advanced terms. Do you know what these mean: mons veneris, philtrum, vomer, tragus, fossa navicularis? Even if you are not a student of medicine, this terminology is worth knowing!
