A large collection of English irregular verbs comprising nearly 400 verbs. The collection is divided into 3 parts:
- Core - This part contains the 120 most frequently used verbs. These are basic verbs such as hold, prove, and spring. This part is a must for everyone who has never learnt English irregular verbs. It can be ordered as a separate collection: English Irregular Verbs Core,
- Standard - This part contains another 120 verbs that are not frequently met. Standard branch presents you such verbs as wed or kneel as well as some compound verbs such as overthrow, undertake, floodlight, etc. This part can be also ordered as a separate collection: English Irregular Verbs Standard,
- Extended - The last part contains another 120 verbs. Most of them are either compound verbs or the ones which are not so common in contemporary English such as cleave, hew, clothe, smite, and waylay.
Some verbs have two different forms (i.e. British and American). For example: saw, sawed, [(Br) sawn/(Am) sawed]. Here the first form is used in British English and the latter in American English.
The collection contains additional spelling exercises that will help you drill learned material. Pending queue (i.e. queue of elements that are awaiting memorization) is sorted by the frequency of a given irregular verb.
