In the registry window, the
toolbar provides a quick access to most often used operations.
Here is the use of the individual buttons (compare with the
picture below):
- Pop-up menu button - open pop-up menu
otherwise available with right-click over the registry window
- List button - list users of the registry member in the user list box (bottom-right)
- Goto button - go to the first user of the
currently selected registry member
- View button - view the first users of the
currently selected registry member
- Find button - find substrings in the
current registry subset
- Replace button - replace strings in the
current registry subset
- Superset button - move to the previous
subset (if any). For example, after search a registry with Ctrl+S, your results
are displayed as a new registry subset. You can move back to the parent subset by
clicking Superset button or pressing Ctrl+Alt+Left
- Subset button - move to the next subset (if
any). For example, after search a registry with Ctrl+S, your results are
displayed as a new registry subset. You can search again to create yet another subset
(AND-search). You can move between subset by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Left and Ctrl+Alt+Right
- Random jump button - randomly select a new
registry member (e.g. for the purpose of a quick registry review)
- Font button - change the currently selected
font member (only in the font registry)
- Path button - display the path to the
selected registry object (e.g. image file). Show the availability of the file in the
primary and secondary storage (if different than the primary storage) and file sizes
- Transcription button - provide a character
map for editing phonetic transcription registry (only in phonetic transcription registry)
- Browse button

put all elements using the current selected subset of registry members into an element browser (note that the button Browse
puts only the users of the selected member in the browser while Browse button
on the toolbar puts the users of all members in the current subset in the browser)
- Import button - import files directly into
the registry
- Stretch button - stretch images to
completely fill out the display panel on the right (only in the image registry)
- Export button - export the currently
selected member (if relevant)
